About the Bird: The worlds fastest birds, Peregrine Falcons plunge from the sky at up to 180 miles per hour to strike medium-size birds in midair. Although Peregrines can tolerate a wide range of climatic conditions, their avian prey may be less adaptable, so the falcons could face food shortages in a changing climate. Increased heat waves and wildfire will also pose a threat.
About the Artist: A graffiti artistturnedstreet artist from Wagga Wagga, Australia, freehands his work using only spray paint. For this wall I was given the topic and asked to make it rock and roll, he says. I originally wanted to have the falcon holding a Chihuahua This was determined to be too much so I added some lightning and called it a day.
